Close It Out consulting specializes in providing fractional chief of staff and business support services tailored to start-up and scale-up SaaS companies.​ I take on admin heavy projects and tasks. This reduces the noise so you can grow your business with enhanced focus. With a wealth of experience in key business areas I am committed to helping companies thrive and succeed. I have worked in hyper-growth companies throughout my career and I believe in working in a lean and deliberate way. My consulting ethos is to work on impactful tasks, not create more busy work.  With my experience in venture funded start-ups and unicorn scale-ups, I am able to deliver targeted support in operations, finance, IT security, privacy, people operations, sales and marketing. ​Let me help your business by executing fractional services without the expense of full-time staff.

Who I Am

My career in tech has been defined by hyper-growth where nothing stays the same day-to-day. 

​

I started my career in sales and customer support in globally recognised companies including Allianz Global and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, then moved into commercial analysis in ION Group, a rapidly growing financial software company.

I joined Intercom, an Irish software unicorn as it scaled from 150 to 1,000 staff, and worked across three departments; Engineering, Support and Legal, while there. Career highlights in Intercom were serving as their Data Protection Officer, rolling out GDPR compliance, gaining SOC2 Certification and helping to establish Intercom's in-house legal team.

 

During the pandemic I joined TikTok as it opened it's Dublin office and grew rapidly from less than 100 staff in Ireland to over 3000. Here I managed two teams in Legal Policy Operations.

Subsequently I joined Roadie, a small but rapidly growing Irish start-up as a part-time Chief of Staff and simultaneously consulted with Tillage Advisors on privacy and cybersecurity. As Roadie grew and moved through funding rounds I took on a full-time Chief of Staff role for 4 years. In this time I saw how valuable the Chief of Staff role can be for a start up company but also how cost effective a part-time outsourced option could be for companies looking to gain the impact without the overhead.
